As a newer entity, the Zimbabwe West Union Conference has demonstrated remarkable focus and dedication, prioritizing key initiatives to establish its presence and contribute to its communities.
The flagship project of the conference is the Cowdray Park School, where significant progress has been made:
· Completed the construction of a two-classroom block, which is now ready for occupation.
· Laid the groundwork for the construction of an additional classroom block, showcasing a commitment to education infrastructure development.

The conference also partners with the Queen Elizabeth Children’s Home (QECH), assisting with facility repairs, weekly grocery provisions, and supporting their horticultural project to promote self-sustainability. These efforts highlight the conference’s dedication to social responsibility and community empowerment.
Additional achievements include:
· Establishing a functional office with a 50-seater conference room that serves as a multipurpose facility.
· Initiating a horticultural project adjacent to the office to supplement operational costs.
· Launching an Empowerment Fund, which has supported 35 members. Beneficiaries have shown commendable commitment, with some fully repaying the loans to enable others to benefit from the revolving fund.

The conference has also made structural strides by forming chapters within its two conferences, South Zimbabwe and West Zimbabwe, and aims to establish district chapters by the first quarter of next year. This decentralized approach is expected to streamline project execution and resource mobilization at the grassroots level.
With a clear vision and steady progress, the Zimbabwe West Union Conference is rapidly catching up with its counterparts, demonstrating impactful leadership and a commitment to mission-driven initiatives
