The Zimbabwe Central Union Conference ASI Chapter is pleased to report on its ongoing mission and membership empowerment activities. Over the past year, the ASI Chapter has made significant strides in supporting its members through economic initiatives, while also reaching out to the wider community with much-needed services. Funds were disbursed to members involved in various economic activities such as mining, production, retail, carpentry, and value addition, helping to improve their livelihoods and foster economic growth.

On the mission front, the Chapter held a successful outreach at the ZCUC Gokwe Zunde, where medical personnel provided free consultations to over 1,000 people, addressing a range of health issues, particularly mental health, while also distributing literature, including Voice of Prophecy materials. ASI President Kondongwe personally handed over a wheelchair to a beneficiary in Chitapo, and various medical supplies and foodstuffs were donated to the local community. The dental care services, including tooth extractions, were also well received. In addition to medical work, ASI conducted training sessions on business and financial literacy for local entrepreneurs, with Pastor Tapera and Dr. Munyanyi leading a seminar at the Gokwe Rural District Council offices. Pastor Shoko and the Amen Kids team also offered lessons at Chitapo School, focusing on spiritual education and life skills for children.
The Chapter further donated foodstuffs to the elderly and needy in the area, helping to alleviate food insecurity. ASI’s development projects included the completion of plastering and painting works on a school block, benefiting the children of Gokwe. The Chapter also organized practical mining demonstrations by Elder Gatawa, and farming lessons on growing rare crops like cassava and buckwheat at Kondongwe Farm, led by Elder Mugari.

These initiatives not only provided valuable skills to members but also strengthened the bond between the community and the Chapter. Additionally, the ASI Big Sabbath event held at the Masvingo Show Grounds provided spiritual nourishment and fellowship, while also recognizing the best performers of the ASI Empowerment Fund, who were awarded certificates for their outstanding achievements. Through these diverse activities, the ZCUC ASI Chapter continues to make a lasting impact, improving the economic, social, and spiritual well-being of its members and the communities they serve.
